Director: Cristina Ibarra & Alex Rivera | Documentary Drama | 2019 | USA | English and Spanish with English Subtitles | 95 min.

The Infiltrators is a documentary/narrative hybrid based on the story of young Dreamers who started a grassroots organization called National Immigrant Youth Alliance. By turning themselves in, the activists infiltrated detention centers to bust out innocent Dreamers who awaited deportation. This line from the movie sums up the heart-felt, action-based drive behind the young activists: “None of us are free if one person is suffering.” While this story takes place during the Obama Administration, it is just as relevant today with the drastic actions of the Trump Administration. The Infiltrators is a suspenseful and emotional portrait of young radical activists fighting for their human rights.
